May Quiltie We haven't had a call for a May Quiltie swap on the Byhandartists group yet, but I am hoping we will. In any case I've been wanting to do a project like this and now seemed like a good time.
I stitched assorted black and white ribbons to my base fabric and black embroidery thread stitches at the adjoining edges. The figure is rubber stamped on coffee stained cotton, fused to another piece of cotton and die cut. This is stitched over a glittery sheer ribbon. The sentiment is also stamped on coffee stained cotton and the embellishment is a piece of old jewelry.
