I started this shawl on Thur. April 27 while I was waiting for my appointment. I left home early to stop at the knitting store and bought new Knitters Pride interchangeable needle tips and a cable. The yarn called for 6.00mm needles, but I decided to get 5.50mm as well. Good thing I did because I didn't like the look of the fabric on the 6.00mm needles, so started again on 5.50mm. The yarn I am using is Lion Brand "Shawl in a Ball" colour "Healing Teal" and the pattern is "Painted Desert Lace Shawl".
This is my progress as of Friday, April 28. I am liking this pattern as it is simple enough to work on anywhere, but enough challenge to keep me interested. I love watching for the next shade of colour to show up.
And this is how far I had knit as of Sunday April 30. I think this colour is turning out very nicely.
